Congrats to Eric Guthertz of Mission HS, Principal of the Year!

Mr. Eric Guthertz, Mission High School’s principal received the Principal of the Year award today from the Mayor on the steps of City Hall at 4pm. I always love to celebrate great SF Public Schools, and it sounds like Mission HS is one of them. That said, I’m sharing out a comment I saw from a Mission HS parent on the Parents for Public Schools – San Francisco (PPS-SF) email group.

Here’s what Maria Aldaz, a Mission HS parent had to say:

Principal Guthertz of Mission HS

“Under [Eric Guthertz”s] leadership, Mission has become a premier high school which is student centric and doing an absolutely wonderful job in not only educating our students but also in caring for them and nurturing them during a critical period in their lives.

My daughter is a senior at Mission and she’s had the time of her life there and such a joyous experience there and been very challenged academically.
Congratulations Mr. Guthertz! So well deserved.

GO BEARS! GO MISSION!!”

Do you have a child at Mission HS? Are you a teacher there? Do you have something positive to share about Mission HS?

  1. My daughter is a 10th grader at Mission and Loves it! From day one she felt as if she was part of a big family and this is largely due to Eric Guthertz. You can really see the difference when a school has a strong leader who sincerely cares.
