What Advice Would You Give your Younger Self?
In continuing my series of Monday Inspiration posts, I’m sharing this video which comes was created as a A Farewell Message from CBC WireTap.
Watching this video is great because it reminds us to be true to ourselves and live a life with intention. Life is a process, not a race. And no matter what age you are, you will never be fully “grown up” or have all the answers. With that in mind, we might as well try something new (even if we suck at it!) and HAVE FUN!!!!

What I’m doing with this…
My girls and I have creative writing journals where we share ideas and explore our creativity. (I’ll post more on this as it develops into something. Right now it’s in the “beta” stage.) The teacher in me is going to show this video to them and ask the questions below and see what they have to say. We’ve already done this a few times and the experience has been really great. Sharing our writing together is a way to get to know and deepen our mother-daughter connection as they develop into amazing young women. It is also teaching them how writing can be a powerful tool for self-reflection, self-discovery, and healing, while connecting them with others (as I do with you, dear readers, via this blog!)
That said… What do YOU have to say?
If you were to write a message to yourself at a younger age, what would you say? What do you think your older self would tell you now?
